Lo Fi Cameras

I love cheap lo fi cameras. The first one i got was the Lomo fisheye, and since then i got a cosmic symbol for £3 off ebay, a Holga for £8 from hong kong which im yet to get a film back from, plus a few other non descript ones from other places. I like the unpredictable results you get with them, the light leeks, the accidental double exposures, the weird colour shifts. They are amazing.

Olympus OM1

When i was growing up my father had a Olympus om 1. I remember thinking it was the coolest camera i had ever seen, and i still think it's the coolest camera i have ever seen. My brother uses it now and it has never failed it's been in service for about 30 years and its still going strong. You would be lucky if your digital camera lasted 3 years the amount that thing is used. A few years ago i purchased my own one the md model in black. Its got scratches and dents but it still works perfectly, i have taken it everywhere and i tend to wrap it in a jumper in my holdall so i don't have to take a camera bag with me when i go away. Its so compact and tough it really is amazing. Mine cost me £25 on ebay so they are not even expensive, and some of the lenses can be picked up dirt cheap as well. Do your self a favour get one!

Brighton Seafont

A few shots of Brighton seafront, it's not all candy floss and Brighton rock.
